Sugarland –
Sugar Land, named for the sugar plantation that was present during the early 20th century, began to evolve back in 1959 when residential housing became part of the landscape allowing for this city to become completely incorporated. The city of Sugar Land has since become one of the most affluent and fastest-growing communities in the state of Texas.
